Patrick M. Murray, Chairman Pat Murray retired in 2007 as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Dresser, Inc. and previously served as President and CEO of Dresser, Inc., President of Halliburton’s Dresser Equipment Group and Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives of Dresser Industries, Inc. Mr. Murray also served as VP, Operations for Dresser’s Drilling and Productions Operations and as President, Sperry-Sun Drilling Services. He joined NL Industries in 1973 as a Systems Application Consultant and served as Vice President and Controller of Sperry-Sun, Group Controller, Director of Management Information Systems and Controller of NL Industries, Inc. Mr. Murray holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Seton Hall University. He served for two years in the U.S. Army as a commissioned officer and now serves on the boards of Harvest Natural Resources, Inc., Precision Drilling Corporation, the Maguire Energy Institute, Valve Manufacturers Association, Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association, the Texas Business Hall of Fame, and the Board of Regents of Seton Hall University. He is on the Board of Governors of The Houston Forum and is a member of the American Petroleum Institute and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Vice Chair
