Student Opportunities

We encourage DFW students to participate in the many free Council workshops, speakers, and Junior WAC groups listed to the left. Highlights include:

  • our International Career Day for 300 area high school students
  • our History at the Movies events that cover current events through film
  • our Academic WorldQuest competition with 80+ teams of four students competing for trophies, prizes, and an expense paid trip to DC to represent DFW at the National WorldQuest at Georgetown

We also encourage students to consider staring a free Junior WAC on their campus which involves participating in Council education events, hosting speakers, and doing international community service. We encourage students to nominate their teachers for our International Educator of the Year award and volunteer for our International Visitor programs through the US State Dept.
