SOLD OUT: Georgia’s Success Story: A Land of Opportunity Where East Meets West
His Excellency Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia

Friday, June 14, 2019 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

12:00 PM Luncheon & Program
Crescent Court Hotel

Located in the geopolitically important Caucasus region of Eastern Europe, Georgia serves as a vital U.S. ally and a gateway for American companies to access high growth markets spanning Europe and Asia.

Georgia, the birthplace of wine, is bordered to the west by the Black Sea, to the north by Russia, and to the south by Turkey and Armenia. Georgia regained its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, and for more than 25 years, its government has been a representative democracy.

Georgia is an emerging hub for trade due to its strategic proximity to high growth markets and its vast network of trade agreements with numerous countries. His Excellency Mamuka Bakhtadze, the Prime Minister of Georgia, will join the Council next month to discuss his nation’s success story and his vision for strengthening ties with U.S. businesses.
