MEMBERS ONLY: Optimize Your Brain Performance: The Science of Stress and How to Harness It for Good
Dee O’Neill, Center for BrainHealth

Wednesday, July 22, 2020 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Time Zone: America/Chicago
Local Time: Wednesday, July 22, 2020 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

All of our Council members share a love of learning. But the key to examining and absorbing knowledge is a healthy brain. The Brain Performance Institute’s Dee O’Neill says, “The brain is dynamic, adaptable, flexible, trainable — and repairable. Just as we have come realize that we can better our bodies through positive lifestyle habits, so too can we improve our own brain’s performance.”

Join Dee to learn about how we can improve our efficiency and effectiveness personally and professionally, as well as practical ways to improve brain health, manage stress, and utilize mindfulness and heart rate variability training to impact brain performance.

Dee O’Neill leads Corporate and Executive Solutions for the Brain Performance Institute at the Center for BrainHealth, under the umbrella of The University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining the Brain Performance Institute, she worked in the field of neuroscience for more than 15 years at nationally recognized research and medical centers. Dee is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who did her undergraduate study in human health and exercise science at the University of Hawaii and graduated from Chaminade University of Honolulu with a Master of Science degree in psychology. She is a board-certified fellow in EEG Neurotechnology by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance and a HeartMath Certified Trainer.
