Justin Worland is a Washington-DC-based journalist covering energy, sustainability and the environment for TIME Magazine. The 2019 winner of the SEAL Environmental Journalism Award, Worland graduated cum laude from Harvard University where he served as associate managing editor of The Harvard Crimson. Meridian Young Professionals are invited to join Worland at a virtual roundtable event on climate. Worland’s latest piece, “2020 Is Our Last, Best Chance to Save the Planet” is featured as the July 20 TIME cover story and highlights the paramount significance of this year in the global fight against climate change, especially in light of the COVID-19 crisis.

The conversation will be moderated by Erik Wohlgemuth, the Chief Operating Officer at Future500, a non-profit consultancy that seeks to foster cooperation between business and civil society to work as equal partners and responsible stewards of a clean, just and prosperous world.
