2017 Educator Block Party

Tuesday, August 8, 2017 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Join us as Dallas County museums, theaters, and other arts, science, and cultural organizations come together to help you plan your school year!


Participating organizations include:


African American Museum | AT&T Performing Arts Center | Children's Aquarium at Fair Park | Crow Collection of Asian Art | Dallas Arboretum | Dallas Children's Theater | Dallas Contemporary | Dallas Heritage Village | Dallas Historical Society | Dallas Holocaust Museum | Dallas Museum of Art | Dallas Zoo | Junior Players | Mr. Blue Shoes | Museum of International Cultures | Old Red Museum | Perot Museum of Nature and Science | SPARK! | State Fair of Texas | Texas Discovery Gardens | The Dallas Opera | The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza


Organizations will have information about field trips, educator workshops, classroom curriculum, SWAG, and more!


Each organization listed above will have a table at one of the following 4 Fair Park locations:

The Children's Aquarium at Fair Park

Texas Discovery Gardens

Hall of State

African American Museum*

*Note: The African American Museum will close at 5pm. The other 3 buildings will remain open until 5:30pm.


Park for free in the Texas Discovery Gardens’ lot between Second Ave. and Robert B Cullum. Access this lot through Gate 6.


This event is free, open to all educators, and does not require an entrance ticket.
