In After the Fall, Ben Rhodes reflects on the United States’ role in shaping many of the defining moments of the modern era and the legacy those actions have left behind. In his search for explanations behind recent world events, Rhodes relays his conversations with players as wide-ranging as President Obama, Cuban rebels, a Russian opposition leader, and Hong Kong protestors – diving deep into how each of their perspectives on America offer lessons to Americans looking towards the future today.
Ben Rhodes is a best-selling author and co-host of Pod Save the World. From 2009 to 2017, he served as deputy national security advisor to President Barak Obama, managing presidential communications on national security issues.
