Currently ten North Texas teachers are traveling throughout Morocco on a trip put together by the World Affairs Council. Not only is the group having a great time learning about the country, but Morocco is learning about them as well. Check out a piece that ran in a local Moroccan publication last week.

We are thrilled to announce Tracy Marshall as the Council’s July Volunteer of the Month! She serves as the executive director of Grants and Development for the Fort Worth ISD and uses her position there to help coordinate meetings between our International Visitor Program and the schools in her district. In addition, she is always eager to open her home to host visitors from around the globe. When asked why she volunteers, she said, “I have always enjoyed figuring out the connections between cultures across the world.” We commend you on all your efforts to promote unity between North Texas and the world! To learn more about how you can volunteer for the Council, contact Brett Stanley at bstanley@dfwworld.org.
