With an unprecedented focus on China this year, this Asian powerhouse continues to change the face of the global economy. The 2008 China Series will present a comprehensive look at “Doing Business in China,” with a panel moderated by former Ambassador of the U.S. to Vietnam Raymond Burghardt. In 2006, he was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the American Institute of Taiwan. Ambassador Burghardt will present “The U.S. and China: Cooperation and Competition with the Emerging Power.”
