“Through the Lens of Jordan: Integrating Middle Eastern Narratives into North Texas Social Studies Curriculum”

The project supports overseas training and curriculum development in Middle East studies for 12 North Texas secondary educators and is part of the Fulbright GPA program funded by the U.S. Dept. of Education in partnership with WAC, HEB ISD and UNT.

Timing:

Phase I: Pre-departure learning sessions (24 hours total)
Phase II: In-country seminars in Jordan (July 9-August 6, 2016)
Phase III: Evaluation and extension into curriculum starting with the 2016-2017 school year
