Best Practices for Developing National Air Quality Standards

This project will expose participants to best practices in the development and implementation of national air quality standards. The program will focus on international requirements as well as elements specific to our U.S. model. It will provide access to U.S. experts working in the field of air quality and the standardization of regulations, as well as an opportunity to establish partnerships with organizations that have successfully implemented new standards.

Participants will examine models for a national air quality standard that, if implemented, will lead to improvements in Kazakhstan’s environment, enhance protection for public health, and contribute to the sustainable development of the country.

Countries visiting: Kazakhstan
