But what does the act do for the average citizen? What is carbon capture and storage? Michael Orlando is an executive director of the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities & Energy Management at the University of Colorado Denver. He also lectures in the Center’s Global Energy Management program, where he teaches courses on valuation, capital structure, political risk analysis and strategy, and energy business issues. His consulting activities focus on economic and strategic concerns in energy, resources, and infrastructure. Orlando has provided analysis for advisory services and testimony in a variety of conflict and dispute resolution forums, including regulatory hearings, litigation proceedings, and international arbitration tribunals.
