Human trafficking has become highly prevalent in the DFW, accounting for 35% of Texas’ commercial exploitation cases. The Dallas based nonprofit, New Friends New Life gives trafficked and sexually exploited teen girls, women, and their children a new chance at life. Additionally, the organization raises awareness of human trafficking. By providing access to education, job training, interim financial assistance, and mental and spiritual support, New Friends New Life empowers and encourages women and their children to overcome abuse, addiction, poverty, and limited opportunities.
