In this workshop, students will dive into the complexities of digital citizenship, including the threat of falling for fake information. They will inquire what qualifies as fake news and why you should care about what is real and what is no. Students will have the chance to examine case studies that bring to life the everyday challenges of today’s media landscape which will leave them with an easy-to-implement strategy for staying ahead of online threats.
