You likely know Paul Revere for his famous midnight ride warning of the British troops’ arrival. You might not know that he wasn’t the only rider that night – in fact, he was only one of a coordinated series of rides by numerous men (and perhaps one woman). In his new book, The Ride: Paul Revere and the Night That Saved America, Kostya Kennedy presents Revere’s story as it has never been seen before: a group effort that nearly ended in disaster and capture but ultimately set in motion America’s war for independence. Join us for the 250th anniversary of that hectic night as we look at the wider story behind Paul Revere’s heroic ride.
