ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Frank Lavin was the White House political director for the Reagan administration and a member of his National Security Council. He also served in both Bush (41/43) administrations, working in the Department of Commerce, Department of State, National Security Council, and the White House. Lavin was previously U.S. Ambassador to Singapore, where he helped negotiate the U.S.-Singapore Free Trade Agreement. He is active in U.S.-Asia policy, U.S. domestic politics, and trade policy matters.
