12:00 PM CT Luncheon and Program
Where were you when 9/11 happened? Twenty years after those horrific attacks, we come together to reflect on the lasting legacy of that terrible day. On Friday, September 10th the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth and Dallas Bar Association will present “Remembering 9/11: Then and Now” featuring Ambassador Robert Jordan and Harriet Miers.
Soon after September 11, 2001, Ambassador Jordan was appointed as U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, a country that became very entwined with the 9/11 attacks. The Honorable Miers was White House Staff Secretary at the time and later served as White House Counsel in 2005. These two individuals, very active in the Bush Administration during 9/11, will recount their experiences then and now, how they view the U.S. twenty years since the attacks.”
Moderated by Doug Dunbar, KTVT 11.
The in-person option is now full but the virtual option is available.
