Associate Dean, Naveen Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas

Diane Seay McNulty, Ph.D. serves as Associate Dean for External Affairs and Corporate Development in the Naveen Jindall School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas. She also serves as Editor-in-Chief of MANAGEMENT, the Katie Award and CASE Award-winning magazine of the School. In her capacity as associate dean, Dr. McNulty coordinates the School’s PR/marketing, community relations, fundraising strategies, alumni relations, and special events. She annually teaches a master’s seminar on ethics in international business in the Executive Education Program and organizes the international experience. She also teaches a full-time master’s program course in business policy and government relations. Dr. McNulty’s research efforts center on corporate governance issues and ethics. She is one of the co-founders of the School’s annual program, Positioning Women for Corporate Boards. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Public Affairs Council, a national association based in Washington D.C., representing business in its advocacy efforts, is currently on the Advisory Council of The Museum of Nature and Science, and is a member of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations. She is a member of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce International Advisory Committee, Technology Business Council Communications Committee, and the Public Affairs Committee and is serving as co-chair of the Chamber’s Professional Women’s Alliance. She is active in volunteer efforts to raise the city of Dallas’ image as an international city and previously served in the Office of International Affairs at Dallas City Hall. She is active in the Richardson Chamber of Commerce/Technology Business Council and serves on the Tech Titans Committee She is a founding member of the committee organizing the fundraising inaugural event, ‘Stiletto Strut’, in April 2008 benefiting women and heart health for the Women’s Guild, American Heart Association, Dallas Division. She served as the 2001 Chairman of Côtes du Coeur (wine auction fundraiser), American Heart Association. She is the past secretary of the Board of Trustees of The Science Place, past Chairman of the Board of Dallas World Salute, and past member of the Board of American Heart Association, Dallas Division. She has been a consultant to non-profit organizations focusing on board of director responsibilities and ethics as well as governance issues of top leaders. She has chaired numerous non-profit fundraising efforts for the American Heart Association, Women’s Guild and Board, The Science Place, ArtReach, Dallas Museum of Art, and the Junior League of Dallas. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and a former Richard D. Irwin Fellow.
