Tara Meltzer is an Emmy Award–winning television news executive and producer with more than 20 years of experience across broadcast, cable, streaming, and digital media platforms. Throughout her career, she has led editorial strategy, booked high-profile interviews, managed breaking news coverage, and produced compelling content for some of the nation’s most recognized news organizations.

Tara helped launch and develop several successful national news programs, including Morning Joe at MSNBC and Wake Up America at Newsmax, and played key roles in the development of All In with Chris Hayes, Ronan Farrow Daily, and other prominent programs. She has held senior leadership positions overseeing news booking and editorial operations, working closely with network executives, newsroom leaders, and on-air talent. Her work has included coverage of major domestic and international stories, from presidential elections and congressional politics to global conflicts, foreign policy, and national security issues.

She began her journalism career as a Capitol Hill reporter, spending eight years covering Capitol Hill before transitioning to television news. Tara is a proud mom of two rescue dogs.
