Trasa Cobern joined the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth in June 2026. She grew up in a military family and lived for over 10 years in West Germany; she was there when the Berlin Wall fell, an experience that sparked her lifelong love of history, politics, global affairs, and civic education. A proud honors graduate of Texas A&M University, Trasa previously served as Chief Development Officer for 6 Stones Mission Network. Before moving into nonprofit leadership, she taught U.S. history, government and AP/IB history classes for nine years and served as Social Studies Department Chair at Euless Trinity High School. Trasa is deeply family-focused and loves traveling with her husband, Kyle, and their four adult sons.
