From 1986 to 1991, he held a number of financial management positions with American. Parker received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Albion College in 1984 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University in 1986.

Keynote Speaker

Tom Wolfe

Tom Wolfe

Tom Wolfe is a legendary author/journalist who made The Right Stuff a household term with his story of the U.S. space program. In The Bonfire of the Vanities, he captured the climate of greed, ambition, social class and politics in New York in the ‘80s. From the ‘60s and The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test through his work today, Wolfe has been the journalist/novelist with a clear view of America. He created the terms “radical chic,” “the Me Decade” and others now common in use. Renowned for his “New Journalism “ in Esquire, The New Yorker and other publications, Wolfe provides a different look at mankind’s development in his latest book, The Kingdom of Speech.
