Explore International Career Opportunities with an Internship

Come intern with the World Affairs Council - shake hands with senators and ambassadors over lunch, help host a conference to equip hundreds of local teachers to educate their students about current events and foreign affairs, or telephone an Australian government official for insight on international festivals - it's all in a day's work at the Council!

Of the many internship opportunities available in the area, this one is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We offer you experiences and resources that you just can't get anywhere else. Our internships are currently unpaid, but we can provide you with a parking stipend, a glowing recommendation letter for graduate school or your next job, and connections to some of the biggest and most important organizations in the region. We are always looking for talented and passionate individuals, even if you are still in high school or have already graduated from college. Talk to your university advisor about completing our internship program for course credit!
