Each year, more than 8,000 students and 1,500 teachers are directly impacted by the Global Young Leaders education program. It's the only education initiative in North Texas focused on global competence, with Junior World Affairs Council clubs on 75 local high school campuses (public, private, and charter).

International Leadership of Texas - Garland High School

Join us for an evening of celebration! As the academic year concludes, the Global Young Leaders (GYL) program invites all participating students and educators to attend a JWAC End of the Year Celebration! At this event, students from area high schools will have the opportunity to share their club’s accomplishments and best practices with their peers. GYL will recognize the accomplishments of North Texas JWACs and announce the impressive leaders of the 2019 class of 20 Under 20! Heavy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
